Day 5

Today I started off yet again with chocolate granola. I've been having a cup of tea beforehand to try and get something into my stomach so that I feel more satisfied when i've finished the cereal. I think it's working because i'm not dying to eat more straight away although I could happily have four times as much granola than DC allows.


For lunch I had the bacon and bean soup. I had this on my first day and forgot to take a picture but I have one for you today!  It had to be the this soup today because my boyfriend decided to quite rudely make himself a bacon sandwich knowing I couldn't have any (grounds for breaking up, I think!). So I had the taste for bacon and this soup filled a hole. I also love how it has chunky vegetables in it. I've had a look through the soups and squeezed the packets and there's quite a few that seem to be just slightly thick liquid. So I think with those I'll have some veg to chuck into them so it's more filling.



I made bolognese for my boyfriend for dinner tonight (I hate calling him that, I feel like it makes me sound 13. Not sure why. But from now on i'll refer to him as Dan.) So to tie in with it I had the pasta bolognese with peas. Lots of peas. It was really nice. 



What I've been doing with my lunch and dinners is having a large glass of squash with them to help me feel fuller but DC recommends not having sugary squash so what i'm going to do is make a jug of fruit tea and when it cools down i'll pop it in the fridge. I just don't fruit tea hot - it just doesn't float my boat. But i'm hoping that i'll enjoy this. I've done orange tonight so I'll have some in the morning and see how it tastes.


Other than my meals today i've had a some grapes and soon i'll have my DC biscuits and tea.
